Clients receive enhanced real-time alerts and visibility through deeper application integration

Baltimore, MD – August 14, 2019 – Protego Labs announces integration with alerting tools Splunk and Slack to provide clients with full visibility and convenience to benefit DevOps and security teams. Aside from Protego’s ability to seamlessly integrate into the CI/CD pipeline, security teams and operations will now benefit from getting security posture data, security events, and tasks sent straight to their favorite alerts platform. This will also enable them to create custom dashboards and receive notifications without having to go to the Protego dashboard.

Serverless and cloud-native applications security can be overwhelming. With the speed of serverless and cloud-native deployments, DevOps and security teams often feel a severe lack of visibility and control over their application’s overall security posture, as well as important security tasks, events, and alerts. Protego’s integration to Splunk and Slack will provide teams with real-time notifications about important events and tasks blocked or alerted on, and create custom dashboards right in application from all the information gathered by the Protego platform

To integrate Protego to Splunk, one simply needs to obtain a token from the designated Splunk account and put it in the Splunk integration section on the Protego Integrations panel. From there, Protego will start pushing through security events and important security information into the Splunk account so owners can create custom charts and dashboards fitting to their exact needs. Similarly, with Slack, teams can set up different channels for tasks, security events or management notifications by simply choosing the channel and putting in the Slack webhook URL. From there, all tasks and events will be fed to the designated channel, with a frictionless integration that provides customization and ease-of-use.

Protego’s ability to integrate with different alerting tools is a game-changer when it comes to accessibility to important security information, and helps security teams stay in control at all times, delivering important security wisdom to their favorite platforms. With Protego’s integration abilities, security now works for you. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
